I talked to a guy recently who is in internet ministry... and asked him if he had considered a way for evangelism through second life... he told me about this... to see it here though was interesting....

I didn't read the article mostly because of my preconceived notions that its just plain weird. People spend way too much time on the computer if they're "going to church" in second life. While I'm sure God could use this as an avenue to convict people's hearts of the their sinfulness. Its just plain weird.

It doesn't seem that weird to me, but then I've spoken with people about faith many times on the internet and in the online videogame realm of MMOs, etc.

while i agree with you maflynn... as weird as it is to me, it may be the only way to minister to some...

Yeah, I kind of inferred that but still, something isn't right when people are spending too much time in virtual worlds that we now have to open virtual churches.
