Some consider Trinity the Harvard of seminaries. I especially like prof. Don Carson. Nate, Was your dad pleased with his decision?

| The Bible College of New Zealand (its not like we have lots of choice here). (http://www.bcnz.ac.nz)
I met Mr Carson at a series of Lectures a few years ago. Had a coffee and a chat and listened to an interesting lecture on the new perspective on paul (it was just before his book came on on "the law"). He is a really nice guy, and it was interesting to talk with him, even if I did embarrass myself by asking noob questions.

| I believe he was pleased. I've sort of assumed that but never outright asked. It's certainly helped me out quite a bit. | |

Yeah, picking the right seminary or college can be quite a hassle, but I'm glad your dad had the opportunity to go to Trinity.

Dr Carson is so brilliant.

3. Southern Baptist Theological Seminary From my point of view, those are the top three schools in the nation. Their church history programs are top notch. Mark Noll, one of my favorite church historians, once taught at Wheaton. He is at Notre Dame now.

Yeah, talking to him gave me much more respect for his work, the care he puts into it and the honesty of the man himself. It was also interesting to hear him talking about the persons of other theologians that he knows well, and how he feels their personal experience influences their theology. Anecdotally of course.

| After I finish Lee University, and if I decide to go to a Seminary, it would be Asbury Theological Seminary. First, I live in Louisville Kentucky [have all my life]. It wouldn't be to far from my family. Secondly, I really like Ben Witherington III. Overall, this school really interests me. | |

Sure. So far, I have read works of various professors of Asbury. They are Joel B. Green, Ben Witherington, Jerry Walls and Joseph Dongell. I have come to enjoy their works, and would love to have them as my teachers (if possible). Asbury, to my knowledge, is a Wesleyian Seminary, which fits well with the views I have come to see Scripture teaching (Arminius seen these views in Scripture as well). This, joined with the fact that it's not too far from my hometown, makes it stick out to me.
